ENGAGE (Warwick Action 21 Renewable Project)
Description
To assess public opinion and deliver a range of renewable energy projects in Warwick District.
Key Features
Carry out a postal survey of 2,000 residents to gage public opinion on various renewable technologies and identify the most popular ideas. Carry out a feasibility study on various potential projects to establish those that are cost effective. Set up a community owned energy services company to develop the potential schemes ensuring that the homes receiving the energy produced are energy efficient.

Title
Lighthorne Heath CHP
Description
To establish a combined heat and power system serving the village of Lighthorne Heath and the adjacent Landrover site.
Key Features
Engage with all residents to assess public opinion on CHP as an alternative to mains gas. Carry out a feasibility study including mains gas and biomass fuels. Set up a community owned energy services company to develop the scheme ensuring that the homes receiving the energy produced are made energy efficient.

Title
SWEEP (South Warwickshire Energy Efficiency Project)
Description
A scheme that targets rural communities, working through a village group to deliver advice to the whole community with discounted energy efficiency improvement measures and grants.
Key Features
Include training a team made up from villagers, delivering information to all homes, arranging a bulk discount scheme with local contractors, setting up an exhibition in the village hall and providing free energy saving lights to everyone who participates. At the end of the project, a grant is made to the village for something of benefit to the community.

EESEE (Energy Efficiency Scheme for Employers and Employees)
Description
A scheme targeting the employees of local companies and organisations. With the help of the employer, all employees have the opportunity to access advice, discounted improvement measures and grants.
Key Features
Include delivering advice to all employees, a poster campaign within the company, seminars and presentations to specific groups, lunch time exhibitions, bulk discount scheme for installed measures and free energy saving products.

Description
A pilot scheme to carryout improvement measures on solid wall properties in non mains gas areas and monitor the results.

Title
REACH (Raising Energy Awareness in Communities and Homes)
Description
A scheme targeting the whole community of the partner local authorities. The first year included a 100% mailing to all homes, the second year identified specific communities to work with and in the final year the remaining funds provided grants.

Offering advice to all householders with a competition for those who take part, presentations to community groups, local exhibitions, bulk discount scheme for installed measures and grants.
